A
very good book on how the creators of the runes viewed time and events
(what call Wyrd), and a must read for any rune reader. Without the
knowledge in this book, reliable readings are probably
impossible.
Elliot
is one of the all time greats in scholarly rune work. A little
skeptical about magic of the runes, he still gives a good historical
perspective.
Flowers
is better known as Edred Thorsson, but do not let this fool you. His
interpretations in his scholarly works are more on the mark, and
perhaps even more useful to the modern rune user than his esoteric.
The
book on the Anglo-Frisian fothorc. Page is the expert on the use of
runes inEngland. He is fairly open to the ideas that the ancients used
runes in ritual, and provides very good iterpreations on the meanings
of the runes.
If
one were allowed only one book on runic divination this should be it.
Unlike Edred's other books which stray from ancient interpretations,
this book is fairly accurate.
Edred's
first book on rune work. This book is dedicated to rune magic an not
divination. It is too far in my opinion into High Ritual Magic to be of
much use, but his interpretations are interesting.
Again,
much of this book is like Edred's other too far into High Ritual Magic
and theory. Nonetheless, the history is accurate, and his presentation
of the soul structure and Wyrd quite useful.

There is not much here for those outside the Gild, but if you want to join.
Rune Gild USA

The same is true here as with the other Gild site.
Runic Journey
http://www.tarahill.com/runes/
Tara has some very good interpretations of the runes as well as a reliable knowledge of their history. Unfortunately, this is marred by Tara's failure to understand Wyrd... and giving the "future" rune interpretations as "inevitable fate." The third rune is always "that which should be, but may not come to pass."
Sunny's Rune Index Page

CB Sunny knows a lot about the runes and has a very good site. While not Asatru (or even pagan that I know of), she links to other reliable sites, and has very good commentary of her own!
Wednesbury Rune Pages
http://runes.englatheod.org
A site that revolves around the Old English Rune Poem and drawing on the works of scholars like Elliot and Page, instead of other esoteric works. This gives a very refreshing and real feel to its interpretations.
